Historically Incorrect Canooding

In the article Historically Canoodling by Stephanie Coontz is mainly about the up comings of Valentines Day. Valentine's day started by the Roman Catholic Church as a limit on sexual passion. "For thousands of years, love passion and marriage were considered a rare and usually undesirable combination." Valentines day is a day is a day to  show how much you care for your lover to me. In the article it says  today everyone wants so much more they want to find someone that's going to  be their best friend  their lover and someone that you will marry in the future. I don't think that's true, Now a days nobody really seems to think about  long term relationships or getting married.  Marriage rates has drastically declined since back in the day, people are having more kids than they are getting married. I think marriage is some what a waste of time, but if I do get married I would want it to be someone who's going to be my best friend and I can tell everything to. But Valentine's Day doesn't seem as special anymore. How do you think Valentines day has changed? do you think Valentines day is more special or less special?

Cyberwar

The article Cyber war by Patrica Smith is mainly about the beginnging of a cyber war. Iran has started the beginning of a cyber war by Iran attacking Saudi Aramco, "engineered computers attacks that in September intermittently took offline some of America's largest banks including Wells Fargo and PNC and disrupted the online banking websites of Capital and BB&T." This cyber war is helping other countries put virvus in the United States computers and is effecting their computers. Their was a virvus on a person who lives in New Yorks computer and the vivus shut down all of New Yorks lights. This cyber war will not be good for any body. The cyber war will attack anybodys computers and send a virvus this will invade peoples personnal space and mess up their computers. The cyberwar is also in a way a good advantage for the United States. The United States will have a more of an advantage on other countries with the cyber war because of our technology and because of the weapons we already have. Do you think the cybetr war will be an advantage for the United States ? Do you think that the United States should stop having this cyber war because other countries have better technology or do you think our technology is better so we might have the upper hand?
